The HBO executive, head of HBO and Max, recently indicated that the program is expected to premiere outside of the Emmy cutoff. In other words, viewers can anticipate the epic new season to be released by late May 2026.

Creator Condal admitted he didn’t mince words when talking about the scale of the third part. He described it as, “absolutely huge.”

“Each day I walk around the production and see the elements we're building—the quantity of outfits, extras, it’s astounding,” he added. “I understood it was more expansive than last season, however I didn’t realize just how big.”
