On Monday, the court learned communication data and evidence recovered from phones documented Ms Wandelt repeatedly requesting Madeleine's mother for a biological test over 2023 and 2024.

Madeleine's vanishing in 2007 - when she was three years old during a family holiday in Portugal - is among the most widely reported investigations and remains unsolved.

'I Don't Want Money'

Another voicemail, presented in court, captured Ms Wandelt stating: "I realize I'm overweight and unattractive like Madeleine had been, but I feel what I feel."

While one recording of Ms Wandelt's one-way conversations with Mrs McCann's voicemail said: "Imagine there is a slight possibility that I am she? Then what? Isn't that crucial for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I have a living here in Poland, I simply desire to discover," the message continued.

The jury was informed that via emails, mobile messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt demanded a biological test, forwarded childhood photos to her phone in a attempt to show a likeness to Mrs McCann's vanished daughter, and asserted to have "flashbacks" from a youth with the McCanns.

The investigator, a data specialist with law enforcement who compiled the information, told the court there "didn't appear to be any responses" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also communicated with close associates of the McCanns, based on the call data.

On that date, Gerry McCann responded to a call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, stating she had "the wrong phone."

That day Ms Wandelt deposited a recording on Mrs McCann's recording declaring "I will continue and I will prove my point."

The court learned the co-defendant developed a connection through digital means with Ms Wandelt preceding joining her on a appearance to the McCanns' property in that area in last December.

Phone records demonstrated Mrs Spragg had reached out using WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to state the news outlets had characterized Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she ought to be treated respectfully in the months preceding the trip to Rothley, that area, in December 2024.

The court was told communications between the two accused, in that autumn, planning endeavoring to acquire Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her garbage or from silverware at a eating establishment.

"We need to take action," the co-defendant told Ms Wandelt.

On the evening of the visit to their home, Mrs Spragg sent a message which expressed: "We are sat near the McCanns' house with our headlights off similar to detectives. I desired to accomplish this with another person I hadn't anticipated I would be involved in this with the McCanns."

The trial proceeds.
