Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Because of Crack in Windshield

An aircraft transporting Pete Hegseth was required to make an unplanned landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the aircraft's cockpit window, according to an official announcement which verified that all passengers were secure.

"The plane touched down in accordance with standard protocol and everyone onboard, including Secretary Hegseth, is safe," a press officer stated in a social media post.

Hegseth was returning from a short visit to the Belgian capital during the flight.

This occurrence does not mark the first time that a US military aircraft transporting a top government figure has experienced equipment failures.

In a previous incident this year, a United States Air Force aircraft carrying Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was forced to return to Washington DC after experiencing a mechanical problem.
